The classes are for women only, but I know how important it is to involve your partner in birth, so I also run hypnobirth workshops so that they learn how best to support you


Do you want to meet other pregnant women locally?

Good Enough Mama classes often have a supportive mix of both first and second time mums and there is plenty of time to chat and connect with others

Each session includes a chance for you to share any questions or concerns that have cropped up in your pregnancy, a discussion on a positive birth related topic, powerful breathing techniques, and a guided hypnobirth relaxation.

Depending on the needs of the group, I also include some simple yoga-based movement to ease pregnancy symptoms and demonstrate positions that are helpful in labour*


You will leave feeling rested and relaxed, as well as growing in confidence each week about your ability to birth your baby.

Please bring your own mat, cushion and blanket. Chairs are provided if you prefer not to sit on the floor, or you are very welcome to bring a birthing ball to sit on.

We will observe 2m social distancing, hand sanitiser will be provided and I will wear a visor (full details on other Covid safety measures will be provided nearer to start date).

* Please note that this is not a pregnancy yoga class. I teach active birth movement rather than a full yoga routine but can signpost you to other resources. The active birth elements included are additional to The Little Birth Company hypnobirth material.

About me

I'm Ali (Good Enough Mama). I've been running active birth antenatal classes and workshops for the past 6 years (as part of The Daisy Foundation). I'm really excited to be joining The Little Birth Company so that I can offer hypnobirthing to expectant parents, both locally and online.

As well as my passion for helping you to have a more positive birth experience, I am a qualified counsellor and mindfulness teacher.

This means I can be there to truly support every step of your journey through motherhood, from reducing fear and anxiety about birth, to helping you in the early days (potentially dealing with PND or birth trauma), and beyond into all the joys and challenges being a mum brings.
